PERFEKT study aims to provide information on femoro-popliteal artery biomechanics before and after stent insertion, in patients with aneurysm or peripheral obstructive disease.
Combining clinical data, medical images, and fluid dynamic simulations of knee flexion and following arterial vessel deformation, we aim to improve post-operative outcomes as well as attempt to link post-stenting arterial geometry and vessel hemodynamics to intra-stent thrombosis develop.
