Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) is an innovative technology used for sintering advanced materials. We use the finite elements method (FEM) to understand how it works, and how to improve and optimized heat distribution and energy consumption. This will allow to process bigger objects and to further enable the integration and the implementation with 3D printing.
