Five professors from the University of Pavia appear on the list of the Highly Cited Researchers, the prestigious international list of scientists who have distinguished themselves worldwide, ranking in the top 1% of researchers based on the number of most cited articles in their specific field.
The new edition of the list, which measures the influence of individual scientists’ research, was made public by Clarivate Analytics, who manages the Institute for scientific information. The presence of researchers on the list contributes to the evaluation of the university in the various international rankings.
Prof. Alessandro Reali, full professor of Solid and Structural Mechanics at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture, appears on the list for the fifth time.
