DSF Project’s digital infusion controller presented @ Regione Lombardia

On February 3 at Palazzo Pirelli – Regione Lombardia, the first digital infusion controller was presented. It is a smart device that overcomes the technological limitations imposed by existing devices, improving the quality of life for patients, increasing personalized care and the effectiveness of the healthcare system. The device has been developed as an output of the DSF – Digital Smart Fluidics project, within the “Call Hub Ricerca e Innovazione” program, aiming at creating a standardized fluidic platform for the development of biomedical devices and equipment for hospital and home infusion, with the ambition of bringing benefits to the healthcare system. The final goal is to create the first International Smart Fluidics Hub for Life Sciences, available to companies, health structures and final users, such as doctors, patients and caregivers.

The event was attended by the Regional Councillor Fabrizio Sala, the President of the Fondazione I.R.C.C.S. Policlinico San Matteo of Pavia Alessandro Venturi and the Rector of the University of Pavia Francesco Svelto.
