Massimo Carraturo wins the AIMETA Junior 2024 Award in Solid and Structural Mechanics

 

Massimo Carraturo, currently a tenure-track researcher (RTT) at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering of the University of Pavia, has won the prestigious AIMETA Junior 2024 Award in Solid and Structural Mechanics, organized by the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (AIMETA).

Dr. Carraturo received this important recognition for the innovative nature of his scientific work, carried out with appropriate methodological rigor, and for his mastery of modern analytical investigation tools, applied to a highly innovative and high-tech sector such as Additive Manufacturing.

The award was presented during the Association’s General Assembly, held at the XXVI AIMETA Congress (Naples, September 2-6, 2024).
