Uniaxial Tests of Mouse Aorta

The present activity starts from a collaboration between our group and Istituto Clinico Humanitas (Prof. Condorelli). Such an activity is part of a multidisciplinary research whose primary aim is the histological and mechanical characterization of health and pathological aortic tissues of mice. Due to the extremely reduced dimensions of the specimens, ad-hoc grips have been designed and printed with our 3D printer.
