CompMech, G+Smo Developer Days 2025

On the second week of January 2025,members of the CompMech group
participated in this year’s G+Smo Developer Days organized at the University of Florence (Italy). The meeting was organized jointly with a workshop of the PRIN project “COmputationally efficient local Spline methods for Multilevel IsogeometriC modeling (COSMIC)”, which brought together many researchers from various fields to share interesting insights on their findings.
The workshop included talks on topics such as spline models, point-could fitting, isogeometric variational formulations, adaptivity with hierarchical splines, and optimization, among others. Moreover, there were several hands-on sessions and discussions on current and future developments of the G+Smo library.
